Pour Moi Cosmetic Clinic of Bournemouth and Poole are pleased to announce we can now offer liquid facelifts. Bournemouth and Poole clients are encouraged to contact us today to find out how this type of procedure can help to gently lift your face, without the need for invasive surgical techniques.
If you are unsure about what’s involved in a liquid facelift or what it means, read our short guide below.
What is a liquid facelift?
There are two types of lines that will develop on the face: static (lines that appear without moving the muscles) and kinetic (lines that result from moving the muscle and pressure on the muscle on the lines). Fillers help the static lines and botox helps the kinetic lines, by using a combination of the both will give the best results – and this is referred to as a liquid facelift.
A liquid facelift is a relatively new term in the cosmetic procedures industry.
It involves the practitioner injecting a combination of dermal fillers and Botox in order to plump, lift, fill, smooth, and re-contour the client’s face to achieve longer-lasting results that might be achieved with just one of the procedures.
Patients can expect to have volume restored to their face, less sagging, and re-contouring of their facial features.
It is becoming a very popular alternative to an invasive cosmetic procedure, and only involved injections rather than surgery.
Pour Moi Cosmetic Clinic can sculpt, contour and lift areas of your face, making you look more youthful without a single surgical incision being made.
A liquid facelift will:
- Create a subtle lift to drooping facial features such as brows and jowls
- Improve the appearance of eye bags and dark undereye circles
- Lift drooping corners of your mouth
- Hide the appearance of bumps on your nose
- Create fuller looking lips
- Create a fuller appearance in sunken areas
- Add volume to flattened cheeks or temples
- Can help you have a more youthful appearance
- Help you look less tired
How does a liquid facelift work?
By using Botox as in combination with our range of dermal fillers such as Teosyal (with all it’s new, innovative RHA products), Sculptra, Restylane, and Juvederm it can result in longer-lasting results, and therefore fewer repeat procedures in the future.
Where the dermal fillers will help to fill in lines and creases in your face, over time the repeated actions of smiling and facial expressions will lead to a breakdown in the fillers. That means more injections are required to keep the results to an optimum.
This is where Botox can help on the upper face when used in combination with dermal fillers – and this combination is known as a liquid facelift.
Botox will help to block the nerve impulses that cause contractions in your facial muscles. It will relax the muscles that are responsible for the facial expressions that can break down the dermal fillers, meaning you should have longer-lasting results.
How long does a liquid facelift last?
If you do decide to have a liquid facelift at our Canford Cliffs clinic, based between Bournemouth and Poole, you can expect the results to possibly last up up to two years, depending on which products were used.
For example, Botox results will last from 4 to 6 months, and fillers from 6 months to a year, and Sculptra for at least 24 months.
Overall, a liquid facelift won’t be a permanent solution, as the injected Botox and dermal fillers will all break down over a period of time.
As a general guide, you can expect your liquid facelift to possibly need revisiting after a 6-month period.
How much does a liquid facelift cost?
Each client we work with will have different requirements, and we will recommend a personal liquid facelift plan to suit you, with a combination of different dermal fillers.
Based on that bespoke approach to everything we do, each client is assessed on an individual basis.
